Fitzwilliam Golf Society is the golf society for alumni/ae and members of Fitzwilliam College Cambridge.

Our 2020 schedule was of course curtailed by Covid 19 restrictions but resumed for August onwards. It includes six events (seven rounds of golf) through to November.  The Fitz Open will be at Saffron Walden GC on 11 September but will be a golf day only - our usual Dinner in College afterwards will sadly not be possible this year.

Our October visit to The Oxfordshire has been extended into an Autumn Mini Tour with the addition of 27 holes the previous day at Frilford Heath and an overnight hotel stay for those who want it. We pay our first visit to the beautiful course at Ashridge for our End of Season Day in mid November - extending our season to rather later than normal.

We have our usual match v Christ's in August, this year at Guildford and the Harpenden Mencap day has been rescheduled for early October from its original date in June.

The full list of revised events can be found on the 2020 Events page entitled Post Lockdown.

All the events from early 2020 which were postponed due to the Lockdown have been rearranged for equivalent dates in 2021. Next year's full schedule will be published in due course.

Membership is open to all Fitzwilliam graduates and members of College. There is no subscription. We have golfers with handicaps ranging from scratch to 28. Anyone interested in playing would be most welcome and should contact the secretary, Colin Dunkerley. See Contact page.
